This year’s dB NYE blow out will be featuring three of the best reviewed electronic music producers/performers of 2009, all of whom will be returning to Neumos for a full on A/V dance assault in true Decibel fashion (custom sound, custom video/lighting, live performance, etc).

I’d like to start off by thanking every performer, promoter, volunteer, partner and most importantly attendee that contributed to making the 2009 Decibel Festival our most attended edition to date. From September 24th through September 27th, Decibel hosted over 120 performers and 30 showcases across 15 venues, that combined brought in over 15,500 people. 2009 was not only our largest attendance, it was the most diverse in terms of age and geography. Due to unforeseen issues with Homeland Security and their Visa’s, Alex Under and Tadeo will not be performing at this year’s Decibel Festival. We have made some exciting changes to accommodate this last minute switch. Replacing Alex Under will be raster-noton and Force, Inc. recording artist Frank Bretschneider, who is working on a very special, rare techno set for tonight that will complement additional headliners Rob Hood and the Wighnomy Brothers.
